Hola amigos,
This week, we are applying the new vocabulary that we got last Friday. This vocabulary, which relates to asking and answering questions related to how I and others are doing, will be used for in class dialogues, discussions, writing activities, etc. We will soon be testing on all of the vocabulary that we have covered so far. This includes greetings, ways to say goodbye, asking and telling names, and asking how you are doing. The test will also include questions over the Spanish celebration "Feria de Málaga". It is important to remember that I ask students to study vocabulary "English to Spanish". Instead of asking "what does this Spanish word/phrase mean?" students should be asking, "how do I say/write this in Spanish?" This is obviously requires more work on the students' part, but is the best way to actually learn the language. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me directly. We will be testing either on Friday or early next week.
¡Hasta pronto!
