This week we dove head-first into the Spanish time-telling process. This can be a confusing process for your students. If your students need additional help with this, I recommend the following the videos:

We also spent time discussing "El Grito de Dolores" this week. We discussed the impact that priest Miguel Hidalgo de Costilla had on Mexico's fight for independence as we looked at this event upon which the Mexican Independence Day (September 16th) focuses.
We will continue working on this time-telling next week and will hopefully be ready to test on the subject by the end of next week (most likely Friday). Collectively, our test will cover weather, time, days of the week, numbers 0-29, and "El Grito de Dolores".
Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns!
Gracias,
Señor Waites
